Afri Agri Products Ltd. (“Afri Agri”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit www.afri-agri.com, use our online shop, contact us, submit an enquiry, request technical or agricultural support, or otherwise interact with us.

We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and other applicable data-protection laws and regulations. The NDPA requires, among other things, that personal data be processed lawfully and transparently, for specified purposes, limited to what is necessary, retained only as necessary and appropriately secured.

Afri Agri Products Ltd. is a Nigeria-based supplier to the agricultural and horticultural industry. We supply agricultural inputs and provide technical support to farmers and agribusinesses across Nigeria.

2. Personal Information We May Collect

Depending on how you interact with Afri Agri, we may collect information including:

  • telephone number;

  • information about your farm, crops or agricultural activities where relevant to an enquiry or service;

  • information submitted through contact or enquiry forms;

  • website usage, cookie and analytics information.

When using our online shop, we may also process information necessary to manage your account, shopping cart, orders, delivery and payment. Afri Agri currently operates an online product catalogue/shop through its Odoo website.

For example, Afri Agri's soil-analysis service involves receiving a sample and providing a report and advice tailored to the farm, which may require processing information supplied by the customer.

You may withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Transactional communications relating to an existing order, enquiry or service are not considered marketing communications.

We do not sell your personal data.

  • delivery and logistics providers;

This reflects the NDPA principle that personal data should not be retained longer than necessary for the lawful purpose for which it is processed.

  • request access to personal data we hold about you;

Our website may contain links to websites operated by manufacturers, suppliers, payment providers, social-media platforms or other third parties.

Afri Agri does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party website or service before providing personal information to it.

14. Children's Privacy

Our website and online shop are primarily intended for farmers, agricultural businesses, distributors and other customers and are not specifically directed at children.

We do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal data through our website except where there is an appropriate lawful basis and applicable safeguards.
