At our premises in Kano we are running continuous trials.
Purpose of these trials:
· Screening new varieties on added value and adaptability for the Nigerian market throughout the year in both dry and rainy season
· Demonstration of improved seeds, comparison of local varieties to new imported quality seeds, both open pollinated and hybrid varieties
· Demonstration of growing techniques and equipment
· Demonstration of drip and spray tube irrigation
· Demonstration on use of water-soluble fertilizers
